The current filesize limit for individual uploaded press kit documents is 1.5 megabytes. We impose this restriction primarily for the benefit of the meeting or event planner viewing those documents. In print applications file size is not an issue, but on the web, big files equal long downloads.
It is for this reason speakers should ideally try to keep all press kit documents (to be viewed online) under 1 megabyte. The longer a prospective client has to wait for your press kit document to download, the greater the chance they will look elsewhere. |
